Susan Morris – Chief Executive Director
Susan is an HCPC-registered Art Therapist with over 30 years’ experience across health, education, and social care. She has held senior leadership roles in multiple Local Authorities, leading safeguarding, inclusion, and multi-agency collaboration. Combining creative thinking, organisational expertise, and a strong social enterprise ethos, Susan uses art to address complex emotional needs and champions trauma-informed approaches that help communities thrive.

William Morris – Executive Director (operations)
William brings a unique blend of analytical skill and imaginative thinking to Art Making Difference CIC. A First-Class BEng (Hons) in Controls & Automation graduate his passion for transforming technical challenges into creative opportunities drives innovative ways to integrate technology into art and community projects. Alongside his engineering expertise, William offers strong organisational and commercial management skills and a deep commitment to social enterprise values, ensuring that innovation not only delivers impact but also helps businesses give back to society.
Emma Johnson – Executive Director (Clinical, Quality and Performance)
Emma brings over 30 years of experience in safeguarding and child protection, alongside qualifications in social work, youth and community development, fine art, and counselling. She is passionate about using art as a tool for communication and intervention, helping marginalized and isolated communities overcome barriers. Her expertise ensures that Art Making Difference CIC delivers safe, inclusive, and creative programs that empower young people and families.

Brian Payne – Finance Director
Brian brings decades of senior leadership experience in public sector strategy across health, education, and social care. He has served as Chief Executive of an East London health authority, Director at the National Audit Office, and Executive Director at the Health Sector Skills Council, driving strategic planning and international development. Since retiring, Brian has supported schools as Chair and Vice Chair of governors, offering invaluable insight and governance expertise to Art Making Difference CIC.

Olivia Kidds – Psychoeducation Director
Olivia brings a creative and informed approach to mental health education, blending psychological insight with innovative thinking. A psychology graduate with experience supporting children with SEND and SEMH needs, she champions person-centred strategies that improve emotional wellbeing. Her strong organisational skills and commitment to social impact ensure that Art Making Difference CIC delivers meaningful, accessible psychoeducation for diverse communities.
